Working between the fields of theatre, dance and film, Susanna explores how movement and the body are encountered both live, and digitally. Being both dyspraxic and dyslexic, she has developed an inclusive practice as a facilitator, teacher and choreographer, that is built on celebrating movement as a field for individuality and play. She makes work through exploring the creative potential of neurodivergence and difference.
After completing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Movement: Direction and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama she has developed her professional experience with organisations including Candoco Dance Company, Access all Areas, Bush Theatre and the Lyric Hammersmith.
Drawing from her background in theatre and dance, her work explores human behaviour, communication and relationships. Her approach celebrates the diversity of human experience and expression, and the embodiment of individual identity.
