Nikhil is a theatre- and performance- maker who lives in South London and who works across the UK. He makes collaborative, interdisciplinary projects that examine the practices and ideologies of contemporary society and art. His work takes the form of productions of new theatre texts, performances, contemporary dance and digital art. The work is often lo-fi, repurposing existing fragments of everyday technology, pop culture or music in surreal new ways.
He has trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and is currently training through Siobhan Davies Dance’s Next Choreography course. He is the Artistic Director of Trip Hazards, a theatre and performance company. His work has been presented and developed at theatres, galleries and public spaces across the UK, including Camden People’s Theatre, The Yard Theatre, The Wardrobe Theatre, Siobhan Davies Studios, The Lowry, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
