Elisabeth Schilling is a dancer and dance maker. Schilling regularly dances in international productions across Europe thus for example in the UK, Finland, Norway, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. She has performed for over 35 choreographers and well – respected companies such as Scottish Dance Theatre, Sasha Waltz (Repertoire), Trisha Brown (Repertoire), Koen Augustijn (Les Ballet C de la B).
Elisabeth has received numerous choreographic commissions including Tate Gallery of Modern Art London (Tate Live), Museum of Applied Art Frankfurt, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Scottish Dance Theatre Creative Learning, Cooper Gallery Dundee, WUK Vienna, Faneromeni Festival Cyprus. Her work was furthermore shown institutions including Saatchi Gallery London, Whitechapel Gallery London, MUDAM Luxembourg, Kunstfest Weimar, Dag van de Dans Brussels and The Place, London, Hunterian Art Gallery Glasgow, Dovecot Edinburgh.
Her past productions SIXFOLD and FELT have been touring through Europe with critical acclaim with together close to 100 performances in over 15 countries.
Elisabeth is the recipient of several awards: Dance Umbrella (‘Young Spark’), Bolzano Danza and AWL Mainz.
