Primary Bank Big DanceA celebration of the Primary Bank ProjectThis year pupils from Charlotte Sharman Primary School have been involved in an extraordinary dance project, investigating Siobhan Davies’ method of creating choreography. The year 5 children invite you to see their work as part of Big Dance 2008. The building will be brought to life with dance, sound, art, animation, living sculpture, film and photography. You can explore the sounds, colours and shapes of the building through the eyes of the children who will take you on a tour of their work. Afterwards parents and children can take part in activities and games in dance, sound, music, architecture and art. Small DesignsLondon Festival of ArchitectureCome and explore our RIBA award winning building in a morning of fun and creative activities for all the family. Led by architect Sarah Wigglesworth and choreographer Siobhan Davies it begins with a seek and find tour and follows with creative projects focusing on the architecture of the building, its vibrant colours and intriguing textures. For 6-10 year olds and their parents. Visual Art ExhibitionNathaniel Rackowe - preverberation
Alongside a new sculptural work, Block Tower (2008) Nathaniel Rackowe will show previously unseen photographs that explore through registrations of scale the structural possibilities of his sculptures, and a video work that draws together previously separate footage from a number of installations that span the artist's career. Nathaniel Rackowe lives and works in London, he is represented by Bischoff/Weiss, London and Galerie Almine Rech, Paris. Recent exhibitions include RP3 at the Economist Plaza, London (2007) and Artificial Light at Richmond, Virginia and Miami Museum of Contemporary Art, USA (2006), while current projects include a large scale commission for the McLaren Technology Center in Woking.
